The App is free to download and most of functionality is available in the free version including maps, plotting your routes and Safari. The paid subscription includes: real-time navigation with voice prompts, access to more magic creatures in Skadi game.

Yes, you can switch the one day free trial on "Activate Subscription" screen.

I do not want to play your game, can I switch it off?
Skadi team:
Yes, you can switch off the gaming components in the map settings.

Does the App work off-line?
Skadi team:
Yes, the App is working totally off-line. In order for all the Skadi functions to work properly you need to download your resort map (which is tiny, approximately 5 MB). Once you have done that all the Skadi functions will work even if you switch on the Airplane Mode.

Can your App tell me about open and closed pistes and the ski-lift timetable?
Skadi team:
Yes, this kind of information is used when plotting your route and is being updated every 15 minutes. The information comes directly from the resort.

Does Skadi drain battery?
Skadi team:
The App is developed in such a way that it should not use more that 40% of your battery during the full day of Skiing (from 9 am till 4 pm).

Is there any statistics in Skadi?

Yes: max. speed, average speed, distance travelled, vertical drop (altitude). You can share your stats with your friends via Facebook.

Yes, Skadi can plot your route to any destination point at the resort. Also, it can bring you there for a specific time.

Is it necessary to ski with the earphones in?

No, you can put Skadi on loudspeaker. It talks quite loudly, so you will be able to hear it.
